China's Apr copper cathode output up by 9.2% YoY

China's refined copper (copper cathode) production was 1,136,000 tonnes in April 2024, up by 9.2% from a year ago, and that of copper products decreased by 5.2% year on year to 1,813,000 tonnes, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to April, China produced about 4.48 million tonnes of copper cathode and 6.74 million tonnes of copper products, up by 10.3% and 0.2% respectively from the prior year period.
