A producer in Shandong keeps the offer unchanged from early this week at RMB11,000/t (USD1,527/t) EXW D/A 180 days for expansible 95 80 250 with a concession of RMB100/t (USD14/t) at most for regular clients. "We raised our price by RMB200/t (USD27/t) late last week driven by increased prices of large flake graphite. However, after that, most of our regular clients complain about the increased prices and claim not to purchase if we raise the price further," the producer revealed, adding that they last sold about 26t at RMB10,900/t (USD1,513/t) this Thursday . For stable sales, they intend to keep their price unchanged and believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese expansible graphite would remain steady in the coming week.
Based on a production capacity of 7,000tpy, they produced about 2,500t in 2023 and around 800t so far in 2024. They predict to produce about 200t in April, in line with March . Now they have no inventory, unchanged MoM.
