Yiyang Huachang resume production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 25 Apr 24 - Yiyang Huachang Antimony industry Co., Ltd., one of the major producer of antimony trioxide 99.8%min in Hunan province, resumed their production one week before. They halted their production during the Spring Festival, expected to produce above 600t this month, a source from the company revealed to Asian Metal.
The source disclosed, "We resumed our production last week and planned to produce about 600t this month". They just resume their production this month, while they are facing strong pressure under the fast increasing prices of antimony ingot.
With an annual production capacity of 16,000t of antimony trioxide 99.8%min, the producer expects to produce about 600t this month and didn't produce last month. They produced about 8,000t last year. They holds about 800t of stocks now, unchanged from last month.
The current mainstream prices of Chinese antimony trioxide 99.8%min stood at RMB88,500-89,500/t (USD12,214-12,352/t) delivered 30 days D/A, up by RMB1,000/t (USD138/t) since late last week. Considering that prices of raw materials keep increasing and supply keep tight, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese antimony trioxide 99.8%min would increase further in the forthcoming week.
