BEIJING (Asian Metal) 25 Apr 24 - Most Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min downstream consumers purchase from hand to mouth over the past week, while producers keep their prices steady supported by high raw material prices. Currently, Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min mainstream prices hover at RMB56,500-57,500/t (USD3.54-3.60/lb) EXW D/P, in line with early last week. Given that most suppliers intend to hold the prices firm while consumers stay in no hurry to place orders, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would remain stable in the upcoming week.
A consumer in Guangdong discloses that their regular suppliers consider selling bismuth ingot 99.99%min at the price as low as RMB57,000/t (USD3.57/lb) EXW D/P presently, in line with early last week. "We last purchased 33t at RMB57,000/t (USD3.57/lb) early last week and then stay in no hurry to replenish inventory as we fail to get any order this week", said the consumer. Given that most suppliers have no intention to lower prices, they predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min would hover at the current level in the upcoming week.
The consumer, with a consumption capacity of 600tpy of bismuth ingot 99.99%min, expects to consume around 30t in April, unchanged from last month. They hold around 30t of stocks now, up by about 20t from late last month.
Another consumer in Hunan discloses that they could purchase bismuth ingot 99.99%min at the price as low as RMB57,000/t (USD3.57/lb) EXW D/P today, in line with early last week. "We last purchase 33t at RMB57,300/t (USD3.57/lb) late last month", said the consumer.
