A producer in Guangdong discloses that they did not conclude any deal of crude indium 99%min since early this month, when they closed at least one deal. They could accept the price as low as RMB2,380/kg (USD328/kg) EXW D/P now, while still insisted on RMB1,975/kg (USD272/kg) EXW D/P early last week. They last sold around 1t at RMB1,950/kg (USD269/kg) early this month and then keep watching the market . The producer said, "Given that most suppliers intend to hold prices firm with high quotations while the downstream stood on sidelines towards the current prices, we believe that the mainstream prices of Chinese crude indium 99%min would hover at the current level in the upcoming week."
The producer, based on a production capacity of 60tpy of crude indium 99%min, expects to produce 1t this month, without much change from last month. They hold around 1t of stock now, unchanged from the end of last month.
