BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Apr 24 – Most buyers hold back from purchasing due to weak demand at the moment, the market keep quiet. The current mainstream prices of LC ferrochrome Cr60%min stand at USD2.30-2.35/lb Cr in Poland, stable from early last week. Considering that most sellers have on intention to adjust prices, insiders anticipate that the mainstream prices of LC ferrochrome in Poland would keep stable in the week to come.
A trader in Poland notes that they quote USD2.35/lb Cr for LC ferrochrome Cr60%min, stable from early last week. " Many buyers are reluctant to place orders due to soft demand, we did not receive any inquiries in the past two weeks", said the trader, who last sold about 20t at USD2.40/lb Cr late in March. They have on intention to adjust prices and predict that the mainstream prices of LC ferrochrome in Poland would keep stable in the week to come.
The trader, with a regular monthly trading volume about 100t of ferrochrome, predicts to sell about 30t in April, almost stable from last month.
"We quote USD2.34/lb Cr for LC ferrochrome 60%min in Poland and could accept USD2.33/lb Cr for firm bids today, stable from early last week", another trader in Polan noted. They did not close any deals so far this month, most buyers hold back from purchasing due to weak demand. On basis of a regular monthly trading volume about 200t of ferrochrome, the trader would sell about 50t in April, on par with last month.
