BEIJING (Asian Metal) 12 Apr 24 - Dragged by the sluggish demand and increasing supply from China in Brazil, the current mainstream prices of silicon metal 5-5-3 in Brazil moved down slightly by BRL500/t (USD101/t) to BRL9,000-9,500/t (USD1,822-1,923/t) EXW without tax from two weeks ago
A consumer in Brazil reveals that he bought 20t of silicon metal 5-5-3 from a local producer in Brazil at BRL9,000/t (USD1,822/t) EXW without tax this week, while the supplier insisted on BRL9,500/t (USD1,923/t) in early April.
