Kunshan Xintongding increases tin ball production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 10 Apr 24 - Kunshan Xintongding Metal Materials Co., Ltd., one of major tin ball producers in East China, would increase the production of tin ball to about 100t in April.
"Driven by more deals, we would increase the production to about 100t in April, up by around 10t from last month," the source disclosed from the company. They reported that they would probably produce around 100t next month.
The producer, with an annual production capacity of 1,800t, produced about 1,000t in 2023 and about 270 in Q1 this year, holding no inventory now. They sell tin ball to semiconductor and chip packaging industry.
On Tuesday, the mainstream prices of tin ingot 99.95%min stand at RMB236,000-238,000/t (USD32,630-32,907/t) EXW 100% down in East China, up by about RMB3,000/t (USD415/t) from yesterday. As the market in surplus and most downstream clients purchased from hand to mouth, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin ingot would go down in the following days.
