Longling reports 41.8% rise in Jan-Feb silicon production

China's Longling county reported a 7.2% decrease in the total value of industrial output by companies above designated size in the first two months of 2024, 15.8 percentage points slower than the year-ago period.
From January to February, Longling produced 7,200t of electrolytic zinc, up by 11.7% YoY, 42,400t of industrial silicon, up by 41.8% YoY, and 5,600t of monocrystalline silicon, down by 9.1% YoY.
