BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Apr 24 - The current mainstream TCs of Chinese tin concentrate 60%min stand at RMB10,000-11,000/metal ton (USD1,383-1,522/metal ton) delivered D/P, unchanged from last Friday. As the prices of tin concentrate kept stable during the past week, most suppliers prefer to hold their TCs flat. As a consequence, insiders predicted that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin concentrate TCs would keep flat in the following days.
A trader in Jiangxi disclosed, "Our quotation of TC for tin concentrate 60%min remained stable at about RMB10,500/metal ton (USD1,452/metal ton) delivered D/P since last Friday." They didn't close any deal today due to no inquiry. While they sold around 10 metal tons at such price last Friday. Due to stable prices of tin concentrate, they had no intention to change their TCs within this week and estimated that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin concentrate TCs would keep stable in the forthcoming days.
Based on a typical monthly sales volume of nearly 200 metal tons, they plan to sell about 200 metal tons this month, unchanged from last month. They hold about 300 metal tons of inventories now.
"We could consider accepting the TC as high as RMB10,500/metal ton (USD1,452/metal ton) delivered D/P for tin concentrate 60%min today, unchanged from last Friday," another trader in Jiangxi reported. They sold about 30 metal tons today at such price and another nearly 30 metal tons as the same price last Friday. As the downstream clients kept stable consumption and the prices of tin concentrate would remain stable trend, they believed that the mainstream prices of Chinese tin concentrate TCs might keep stable in the coming week.
With a regular monthly sales volume of nearly 400 metal tons, they plan to sell about 400 metal tons this month, identical to last month, holding around 400 metal tons of stocks for the time being.
