BEIJING (Asian Metal) 29 Mar 24 - Although most consumers hold strong watchful attitudes under such high prices level, most suppliers prefer to keep their prices firm due to high cost of raw materials
A producer in South China indicated that they offer about RMB278/kg (USD38.5/kg) delivered D/A 180 days and could accept to sell at RMB277/kg (USD38.3/kg) for firm bids. They last sold about 10t at RMB277/kg (USD38.3/kg) mid of this week and last sold about 8t at RMB276/kg (USD38.2/kg) late last week . The producer added, "Most consumers prefer to purchase in orders and there show limited orders with strong watchful attitudes from their clients . While we have to keep our prices firm due to increasing prices of APT88 . 5%min" . According to the producer, prices of APT88.5%min increased to RMB188,000/t (USD26,007/t) this week from RMB187,000/t (USD25,869/t) last week . With an annual production capacity of 6,000t of tungsten powder and tungsten carbide powder, they produced about 5,500t in total last year and expect to produce about 600t this month and produced about 300t last month. They hold no stock in hand now, the same as a month ago.
