China sets first tungsten ore mining quota for 2024

China has set this year's first batch of mining output quota for tungsten ore (65%WO3) at 62,000 tonnes, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The tungsten mining quota will still be given to mines whose main mineral species are other minerals and associated tungsten ores but with medium-to-large sized tungsten resources, while those with small-scale resources will no longer get mining output quota and should report output to the provincial natural resources authority.
