Xuanwei Rongcheng Waste resumes crude indium production

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 8 Mar 24 - One of major Chinese crude indium 99%min producers, Xuanwei Rongcheng Waste Comprehensive Utilization Co., Ltd. resumed crude indium 99%min production early last week, a source from the company disclosed.
The source said, "We halted crude indium 99%min production since early February for Spring Festival and resumed the production early last week". They produced about 5t in January and had no output last month.
The producer, based on a production capacity of 60tpy of crude indium 99%min, holds no stock now, unchanged MoM. They produced about 52t in 2022 and almost 33t in 2023.
Currently, the current mainstream prices of Chinese crude indium 99%min climbed to RMB1,850-1,900/kg (USD257-264/kg) EXW D/P, up by RMB40/kg (USD5.56/kg) from late last week. Insiders forecasted that the mainstream prices of Chinese crude indium 99%min would remain steady in the upcoming days given that most producers had no intention to lower prices supported by limited stocks.
