BEIJING (Asian Metal) 5 Mar 24 – Most Chinese zinc die-casting alloy producers would increase production in March after holiday. The current mainstream prices of Chinese zinc die-casting alloy zamak-3 stand at RMB21,000-21,200/t (USD2,909-2,936/t) EXW D/P, stable from last Friday. Considering that most market participants hold positive attitudes towards zinc ingot, insiders predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese zinc die-casting alloy would edge up within this week.
A producer in Fujian noted that they would produce about 6,000t of zinc die-casting alloy in March, up by about 5,000t from last month. "We quoted RMB21,150/t (USD2,929/t) EXW D/P for zinc die-casting alloy zamak-3, and could accept RMB21,100/t (USD2,922/t) for firm bids today, stable from last Friday", said the producer, who sold about 200t at RMB21,100/t (USD2,922/t) today and sold about the 200t at the same price last Friday. Most of their clients purchase regularly at the moment. Given that most market participants hold positive attitudes towards zinc ingot, they predict that the mainstream prices of Chinese zinc die-casting alloy would edge up within this week.
