Henan adds 16 medium to large deposits in 2023

In 2023, a total of 16 medium to large deposits were added to Henan's geologic system, with increased or upgraded resources of 36.68 tonnes of gold, 1,151.63 tonnes of silver, 12.23 million tonnes of bauxite, 885,600 tonnes of lead and zinc and 2.15 million tonnes of fluorite.
In 2024, a number of prospecting projects in Henan are supported by state finance. The province's preliminary budget for mineral prospecting this year is RMB196 million, which will be used to consolidate resources assets such as Xin'an bauxite deposit, Tongbo gold and silver deposit, gold polymetallic deposit in western Henan, rutile and fluorite deposit in southwestern Henan, etc.
