Medium-sized V-Ti magnetite discovered in Chengde

A medium-sized vanadium-titanium magnetite deposit was recently unearthed in Chengde, Hebei, according to North China Geological Exploration Bureau.
The newly-discovered deposit is located at the eastern part of Damiao-Heishan iron ore mineral-rich area. Drilling found a blind ore body at 200 to 400 meters below the surface of the ground. So far, measured resources at the deposit have exceeded ten million tonnes, containing million tonnes of vanadium-titanium oxides and more than 100,000 tonnes of phosphate, with good prospect in the deeper part of the ore body.
