Guangxi Huakong to build Cu-Al advanced materials project in Binyang

On February 20, Guangxi Huakong Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to build the phase one of Huakong copper and aluminum advanced materials project in Binyang, Guangxi.
With a planned investment of RMB3.7 billion (USD515 million), the first phase of the project, covering an area of 330Mu (22 hectares), will build production lines with capacity of 220,000tpa of oxygen-free bare bright copper rod, 70,000tpa of precision copper alloy wire, 12-million-piece-per-aunnum of PV aluminum materials, and 20,000tpa of precision copper foil. When fully operational, the phase one is expected to generate annual production value of RMB19 billion (USD2.64 billion) and tax revenue of RMB300 million (USD41.73 million).
