Yulin produces 469.7kt of magnesium metal in 2023

China's Yulin saw a 5% year-on-year rise in the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in 2023, according to the local statistics bureau.
In 2023, Yulin produced 606.24 million tonnes of raw coal, 618,300 tonnes of primary aluminum, 469,700 tonnes of magnesium metal, 16,211.8 tonnes of polysilicon, 1.14 million tonnes of ferroalloys, 34.40 million tonnes of semi-coke, 2.89 million tonnes of coal tar, 1.14 million tonnes of caustic soda, and 2.28 million tonnes of calcium carbide, all showing positive growth from 2022.
