Pangang Vanadium & Titanium inks annual ammonium polyvanadate sale agreement with Dalian Rongke

Pangang Group Chengdu Vanadium & Titanium Resources Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pangang Group Vanadium & Titanium Resources Co., Ltd., has entered into an offtake agreement with Dalian Rongke Power Group Co., Ltd. for the annual supply of raw material for vanadium battery energy storage.
Under the agreement, Chengdu Vanadium & Titanium will supply ammonium polyvanadate, about 16,000 tonnes (±10%) of vanadium pentoxide equivalent, to Dalian Rongke in 2024, with the total contract amount estimated at RMB1.57 billion (USD218 million). The two sides will negotiate a monthly contract under the deal. The agreement does not include raw material used by the joint venture between Pangang Vanadium & Titanium and Dalian Rongke and other major energy storage projects.
In 2023, Pangang Vanadium & Titanium sold more than 8,700 tonnes of vanadium pentoxide equivalent to Dalian Rongke.
