Zhejiang Power and XTC New Energy ink precursor supply agreement

On December 18, Zhejiang Power New Energy Co., Ltd. and XTC New Energy Materials (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. entered into a strategic agreement to establish close cooperation on cathode materials for lithium-ion battery and sodium-ion battery.
Under the agreement, XTC New Energy will purchase no less than 20,000t, 30,000t and 30,000t of precursor products from Zhejiang Power in 2024, 2025 and 2026 respectively, with the three-year purchase volume no less than 80,000t, including at least 10,000t of precursor for sodium-ion battery. XTC New Energy will also prioritize purchase of precursor from Zhejiang Power to meet demand from its overseas cathode materials production lines.
Zhejiang Power also announced that its 25,000tpa ternary precursor project has finished construction and is expected to help the company further increase benefit and boost competitiveness.
