Global refined nickel market was in supply deficit of 5,900 tonnes in October 2023 with production and consumption reaching 318,700 tonnes and 324,700 tonnes respectively, and the global production and consumption of refined nickel amounted to 2.89 million tonnes and 2.78 million tonnes respectively from January to October, with a supply surplus of 103,100 tonnes, according to the latest data from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS).
Global nickel mine production was 301,300 tonnes in October and 2.95 million tonnes in the first ten months.
