Nanning Customs and local public security officials have busted two tin ingot smuggling rackets, seizing 12 tonnes of suspected smuggled tin ingot on site during a smuggling crackdown operation.
An initial investigation showed that these smuggling rackets had smuggled about 70 tonnes of tin ingot worth about RMB12.38 million (USD1.73 million) into China from Qinzhou Port of Guangxi since 2022, according to the Customs.
