On November 22, a primary aluminum production residue recycling project with annual production capacity of 200,000t of recycled products broke ground in Shangnan, Shaanxi.
With a total investment of RMB750 million (USD105 million), the project will be developed in two phases. The first phase will build two carbon residue recycling lines, each with an annual production capacity of 30,000t of recycled products, and one solid waste recycling line with production capacity of 100,000t of recycled products. The second phase will build an aluminum ash recycling line with annual production capacity of 40,000t. When completed, the project is expected to achieve annual production value of RMB400 million (USD55.98 million) and tax revenue of RMB20 million (USD2.80million), and would help create more than 120 jobs.
