Lightweight automotive parts production base project signed in Wangjiang, China

On November 14, Wangjiang Economic Development Zone and Anhui Guleichi Circular Economy Industrial Park Co., Ltd. held the signing ceremony for a lightweight automotive parts production base project which will be built in three phases, with a total investment of RMB3 billion (USD413 million).
Phase one of the project will mainly produce aluminum ingot, aluminum bar, liquid aluminum, copper ingot, copper rod and lightweight automotive parts. When fully operational, the phase one would achieve annual production value of RMB1.5 billion (USD207 million) and tax revenue of RMB150 million (USD20.67 million). The second and third phase of the project is expected to generate annual production value of RMB3 billion (USD413 million) and RMB5.5 billion (USD758 million) respectively.
