China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.55 million tonnes in October 2023, up by 8.2% from a year ago, and the total production in the first ten months increased by 7.0% year on year to 61.58 million tonnes, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In October, China produced 3.62 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 6.0% YoY. Production of the metal from January to October totaled 34.46 million tonnes, up by 3.7% from the year ago period.
