China to reinvestigate anti-dumping measures on stainless steel from Japan

On July 22, 2019, China's Ministry of Commerce announced its decision to impose anti-dumping duties on imported stainless steel billet and stainless steel hot-rolled plate or coil originating in the EU, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia.
On July 28, 2023, WTO Dispute Settlement Body adopted the panel report on the dispute case "China - Anti-dumping Measures on Stainless Steel Products from Japan".
According to relevant regulations and rules, the Ministry of Commerce decided to reinvestigate the original anti-dumping case starting from November 9 and implement the above-mentioned WTO panel report rulings and recommendations.
