Baowu Special Metallurgy begins steel ingot production at Ma'anshan project

Baowu special metallurgical material production base project (Ma'anshan project) started phase one production on November 1. The project, developed by Baowu Special Metallurgy (Ma'anshan) Gaojin Technology Co., Ltd., consists of two phases, with a total investment of RMB2 billion (USD273 million).
The phase one project, with total investment estimated at RMB1.2 billion (USD164 million), took just 14 months to finish construction and begin production. When reaching full capacity, the phase one would be able to produce 146,300 tonnes per annum of steel ingot with annual sales revenue of RMB2.2 billion (USD301 million).
