China's production of ten nonferrous metals reached 6.42 million tonnes in September 2023, up by 7.3% from a year ago, and the total production in the first three quarters increased by 6.8% year on year to 55.02 million tonnes, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In September, China produced 3.58 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 5.3% YoY. Production of the metal in the first three quarters reached 30.81 million tonnes, up by 3.3% from the year ago period.
