Inner Mongolia Yuanjing Green New Materials Co., Ltd. plans to add silicomanganese production capacity of 124,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) to replace capacity quota equivalent to 62,000tpa of ferrosilicon, according to the public disclosure of its capacity replacement scheme from the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Baotu.
The company plans to build two 36000KVA submerged arc furnaces at Darhan Muminggan United Banner New Industrial Park in October 2023, with new capacity scheduled to come on stream in October 2024.
