Yulin reports magnesium metal production of 328.6kt in Jan-Aug

China's Yulin achieved a 4.3% year-on-year increase in the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size during the first eight months of 2023, 1.1 percentage points higher than that of the first seven months, according to the local statistics bureau.
From January to August, the city produced 414,100 tonnes of primary aluminum, 328,600 tonnes of magnesium metal, 10,483.9 tonnes of polysilicon, 758,900 tonnes of ferroalloys and 21.63 million tonnes of semi-coke, all showing positive growth from the year ago period.
