Zhongfu Industrial to acquire 25% stake in Zhongfu Aluminum

Zhongfu Industrial plans to acquire 25% equity interest in Zhongfu Aluminum from its controlling shareholder Yulian Group for RMB1.21 billion (USD166 million). Upon completion, Zhongfu Industrial will hold a 76% stake in Zhongfu Aluminum and get more share of production capacity of primary aluminum and green aluminum produced by hydropower, further boosting profitability and sustainability.
Zhongfu Aluminum has existing primary aluminum production capacity of 250,000tpa. Guangyuan Linfeng Aluminum and Electricity Co., Ltd. and Guangyuan Zhongfu High Precision Aluminum Co., Ltd., two subsidiaries of Zhongfu Aluminum, each has green aluminum production capacity of 250,000tpa, and Zhongfu Aluminum's wholly owned subsidiary Gongyi Huifeng Renewable Resources Co., Ltd. is currently building the 500,000tpa aluminum recycling project.
