Xinjiang Bohang Aluminum to build two secondary aluminum production lines

Xinjiang Bohang Aluminum Co., Ltd. has released the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of its aluminum new materials circular economy comprehensive utilization project for public opinion.
According to the EIA, the company plans to invest in RMB350 million (USD47.85 million) to build two secondary aluminum production lines and an aluminum ash processing system at Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Urumchi, Xinjiang. The project will uses locally sourced wrought aluminium and aluminum alloy wastes and cast aluminum alloy wastes as the raw materials to produce aluminum alloy ingot, with a designed annual production of 96,000t. Construction of the project is expected to take 12 months.
