Ancai Hi-Tech announced plan to build a 20,000tpa sodium pyroantimonate project at the circular economy industry cluster area in Xiangcheng, Xuchang. The project is scheduled to be developed in two phases. The first phase of the project will add capacity of 10,000tpa with a planned construction period of nine months and an estimated investment of RMB56.71 million (USD7.81 million), and when in full production, it is expected to achieve an average annual sales revenue of RMB370 million (USD50.94 million). The second phase, also with capacity of 10,000tpa, will be launched subject to market situation.
The company said the proposed project is in line with the company's strategy to develop photovoltaic glass business and will extend the company's photovoltaic glass industry chain to ensure stable and reliable supply of raw material and reduce production cost, so as to further boost competitiveness.
