China's production of ten nonferrous metals totaled 6.03 million tonnes in July 2023, up by 4.2% from a year ago, and the production in the first seven months increased by 7.0% YoY to 42.32 million tonnes, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
In July, China produced 3.48 million tonnes of primary aluminum, up by 1.5% YoY. Production of the metal from January to July totaled 23.62 million tonnes, up by 2.8% from the prior year period.
