Xingren Denggao to add 136ktpa of primary aluminum capacity

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the State Council and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the primary aluminum capacity replacement scheme by Guizhou Xingren Denggao New Materials will be made public by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology from July 19 to August 1, 2023.
The company plans to add primary aluminum production capacity of 136,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) by building 98 units of 530kA electrolytic cell through a capacity replacement program where Shandong Nanshan Aluminum will shut down 156 units of 300kA cell and 78 units of 160kA cell, amounting to capacity of 136,000tpa.
Xingren Denggao plans to build the new electrolytic cells in August 2023 and expects capacity to come on stream in January 2024.
