China seeks public opinion on revised Guideline Catalogue for Industrial Restructuring

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has issued the exposure draft for the 2023 version of Guideline Catalogue for Industrial Restructuring, and public opinion is sought until August 14, 2023.
According to the 2023 version guideline, new magnesium smelting projects and expansion projects (excluding comprehensive utilization projects) are in the "restricted" category. Semi-coke furnace with capacity below 100,000t/y is in the "restricted" category, while semi-coke furnace with capacity of less than 75,000t/y is in the "obsolete" category.
