China's H1 steel products output up by 4.4% YoY

China produced 76.98 million tonnes of pig iron, 91.11 million tonnes of crude steel and 120.08 million tonnes of steel products in June 2023, up by 0%, 0.4% and 5.4% respectively from June 2022, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
In the first half of the year, China's production of pig iron, crude steel and steel products recorded 451.56 million tonnes, 535.64 million tonnes and 676.55 million tonnes respectively, up by 2.7%, 1.3% and 4.4% from the year-ago period.
