Luoyuan Minguang gets approval for 1.3Mtpa high speed wire rod project

The energy conservation report for the 1.3 million-tonne-per-annum high speed wire rod project developed by Fujian Luoyuan Minguang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. has been approved by Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The company will close one high speed wire rod production line with capacity of 600,000tpa and build two new production lines with combined capacity of 1.3 million tonnes per annum. The project is scheduled to commence production in June 2024.
