Inner Mongolia Yuanjing Green New Materials to add 110ktpa silicomanganese capacity

In accordance with relevant guidelines and implementation measures issued by the local authorities, the silicomanganese capacity replacement scheme drawn up by Inner Mongolia Yuanjing Green New Materials has been made public by the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Baotu.
The company plans to build two 33,000kVA furnaces with total silicomanganese capacity of 110,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) through a capacity replacement program to replace 55,000tpa of ferrosilicon capacity to be shutdown. The newly-planned capacity is expected to come on line in March 2024.
