Jinmei New Material to build copper and aluminum composite current collector project in Yibin

On May 24, a contract was signed officially for Jimat New Materials new multifunctional composite current collector expansion base project, which will be built in Nanxi, Yibin. Jimat New Materials is the only industry leader capable of simultaneously producing copper and aluminum composite collector fluids.
The project, with a total investment of 5.5 billion yuan (780 million US dollars), will be invested and constructed in three phases and will mainly produce new multifunctional composite current collector MA and MC production lines. After all the three phases reach full capacity, the project can produce about 1.2 billion square meters of new multifunctional composite current collector materials annually, with annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan (1.42 billion US dollars) and annual tax revenue exceeding 784 million yuan (111 million US dollars).
