China's top ten coal companies report raw coal output of 780 million tons in Jan-Apr

China's top ten coal companies reported total raw coal output of 780 million tons in the first four months of 2023, up by 23.03 million tonnes from the year-ago period and according for 51.0% of the total output from coal companies above designated size, according to statistics provided by China National Coal Association.
The top ten coal companies in the January-April period are CHN Energy with 205.83 million tons, up by 1.8%; Jinneng Holding with 143.27 million tons, up by 5.9% YoY; China Coal Group with 87.79 million tons, up by 1.7%; Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group with 81.95 million tons, up by 7.9%; Shandong Energy Group with 74.67 million tons, down by 4.4%; Shanxi Coking Coal Group with 61.12 million tons, up by 5.7%; China Huaneng Group with 36.94 million tons, up by 12.7%; Lu'an Chemical Group with 34.87 million tons, down by 4.5%; SPIC with 27.37 million tons, up by 3.9%; and Huaihe Energy (Group) with 24.65 million tons, up by 2.5%, all on a year-on-year basis.
