The project assessment notice issued by the government of Puyang County of Henan on May 15 indicated that Henan Saineng Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. intends to construct a 20,000tpy silane-process polysilicon project in the Hubu Town of Puyang County in Puyang City with an investment of RMB1.58 billion (USD226 million).
The project takes an area of 20.57 hectares and aims to produce 20,000t of solar-grade polysilicon and 2,800t of silicon powder per annum.
