Fugu government holds special meeting for advancing semi-coke production rectification

On May 9, a special meeting was held in Fugu, Shaanxi for advancing semi-coke production rectification highlighted by an environmental monitoring group from Chinese central government. At the meeting, the plan on Fugu semi-coke magnesium metal industrial rectification and upgrading was presented and specific actions are arranged.
The meeting required that related government departments and companies should work in coordination to fulfill the work of eliminating and dismantling semi-coke equipment of below 75,000tpy per furnace, and different policies should be formulated for different companies to eliminate backward production capacities so as to expedite the upgrading process and ensure fulfilling all goals as scheduled.
