Sangang Minguang's steel product output in 2022 down by 4.73% YoY

According to the 2022 operation report released by Sangang Minguang recently, in the year of 2022 its steel production recorded around 11.03 million tons, down by 3.31% from 2021; pig iron production was over 9.36 million tons, down by 3.07% YoY; steel product output recorded around 10.85 million tons, down by 4.73% YoY; coke output was 532,400 tons, up by 19.13% year on year; aeid sinter output was over 11.71 million tons, down by 5.57% YoY; and iron ore pellet production was around 1.59 million tons, down by 14.18% YoY.
The company's annual production goals for 2023 are 9.53 million tons of iron, 11.13 million tons of steel, 10.75 million tons of steel products, 780,000t of coke, 12.16 million tons of aeid sinter, and 1.32 million tons of iron ore pellet.
