Ningxia's raw coal production up by 5.2% YOY in Q1

Raw coal producers above designated size in Ningxia reported production of 23.54 million tons in the first quarter of 2023, representing an increase of 5.2% from the year-ago period. In particular, general bituminous coal reached 21.87 million tons, an increase of 3.2%; coking bituminous coal recorded 1.40 million tons, up by 49.7%; anthracite posted 261,300 tons, an increase of 11.0%.
From January to March, raw coal companies above designated size in Ningxia reported sales of 13.29 million tons, down by 31.0% from the same period last year.
As of the end of March, raw coal inventory in the whole region totaled around 3.00 million tons, and inventory turnover days reached 20 days.
