Anshan expects gross industrial output value to hit RMB350 billion in 2023

China's Anshan city aims to achieve gross output value of industries above the designated size of RMB350 billion (USD50.9 billion) in 2023 when the total number of enterprises above the designated size would exceed 850, according to a press conference for the special three-year campaign to revitalize local economy held by Liaoning Information Office on April 4.
Anshan will build national-level comprehensive iron and steel industrial base, world-class magnesite industry base and Northeast equipment manufacturing industry base for a total gross industrial output value of RMB400 billion (USD58.18 billion). Anshan will also establish eight top industrial clusters for steel deep processing, iron ore, magnesite, and so on as the city vows to grow from "big" to "strong".
