WTO raises global trade growth forecast for 2023

The global merchandise trade volume would increase by 1.7% in 2023, higher than last October estimate of 1.0%, the World Trade Organization (WTO) said on April 5 in its report.
The report said one of the key factors for the increase is that China keeps optimizing its epidemic control measures, which should also boost demand and promote further growth of international trade.
