MIIT: China's polysilicon output up by more than 60% YoY in Jan-Feb

China achieved year-on-year growth of more than 60% in both polysilicon and module production from January to February, according the statistics of national photovoltaic manufacturing industry performance issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China (MIIT) on March 29.
In the first two months of 2023, China's polysilicon output increased by more than 60% to about 176,000t and silicon wafer output went up by more than 78%, both year on year.
Meanwhile, China's crystalline silicon cell output increased by 57.5% to 62.2GW, with an increase of 62.2% in silicon module production, year on year.
