Zijin Mining reports higher production of major mineral products in 2022

Zijin Mining reported on March 24 that it owned 3,100 tonnes of gold resources, more than 73 million tonnes of copper resources and over 12 million tonnes of lithium carbonate resources by the end of 2022.
In 2022, Zijin Mining saw great increases in the production of major mineral products. The company's annual mined production included 877,300t of copper, 56.36t of gold, 442,000t of zinc (lead), and 387.5t of silver, up by 48.72%, 18.76%, 1.75% and 25.47% respectively. The company's mined copper production increased by 290,000t year on year in 2022, amounting to 40% of the global net production increase.
Zijin Mining also provided its 2023 mined production guidance, including 950,000t of copper, 72t of gold, 450,000t of zinc and lead, 390t of silver, 3,000t of lithium carbonate and 6,000t of molybdenum.
