Hongshi Group's 200ktpy polysilicon project breaks ground

On March 23, Hongshi Group held a commencing ceremony for its new silicon-based material industrial park project, which covers an area of 3,033mu in the Zero-carbon Industrial Park in Hehuang New District of Haidong, Qinghai. The project will achieve design capacity of polysilicon of 200,000t and industrial silicon of 250,000t per year and construct supporting power generation facilities by two phases.
The first phase of the project will start commercial production in June 2024 and bring annual sales revenues of about RMB18 billion (USD2.62 billion).
